Meet Aubrey, Mars, and Ari—three-fourths of the team behind The Neon Heater Art Gallery , a contemporary, artist-run gallery in Findlay. Founded by Ian Breidenbach in 2012, the gallery was created as a space for conversation around contemporary art in a rural setting, with a curatorial focus on conceptual and installation-based work, contemporary photography and painting, and video and new media.

After recently wrapping up ‘s installation exploring her relationship with death, The Neon Heater is kicking off “Last Light”, a group exhibition by & , opening during Findlay ArtWalk tomorrow, Feb 6th in Downtown Findlay ! We hope to see the community out and about celebrating the art that is alive, thriving, and happening right here at home.

👋 Meet Nancy Ludi Frankenfield!

An artist, educator, and longtime creative force in our community, Nancy taught art at Findlay High School for 23 years and has called the Jones Building her studio home for the past 16+. A proud mother and nature lover, her work is deeply shaped by a lifetime of teaching, creating, and observing the world around her.

You can meet Nancy and explore her studio, along with many other local artists, during Findlay ArtWalk this Friday, February 6, from 5–9 PM, as Downtown Findlay’s art anchors, businesses, and galleries open their doors for a night of creativity and connection.

👋 Meet Philip Sugden, an artist whose life and work carry stories from around the world right here in Downtown Findlay.

Phil is an Art Professor at Bluffton University and from his studio in the Jones Building Artists he creates drawings shaped by years of travel, teaching, and cultural exchange, including time spent in the Himalayas and Tibet, no name just a few!

During Findlay ArtWalk on Friday, February 6th, Phil and fellow Jones Building Artists are opening their studio doors to welcome the community inside, alongside our art anchors and downtown businesses, for an evening of art, conversation, and connection.
