Happy, Happy Birthday to Professor Emeritus Bob Pohlad! 🎈🎉 We are grateful for the thousands of great photos he takes for theatre and music productions, and so much else at Ferrum College.

Bob Pohlad takes hundreds and hundreds of photos for each show. At this rehearsal he got granddaughter Jillian to help.

Thanks to Dani Wilburn for the wonderful followup on "The Music Man"! We'll share more photos later.

Appalachia isn’t just a place—it’s a voice, a rhythm, a memory.

Girl of the Holler brings that voice to life in a deeply personal memoir about:
• Family ties
• Mental health
• Growing up in the hills
• And the complicated love between a daughter and her father

This is storytelling that doesn’t flinch.

🎟 One night only. Don’t miss it.

This young man's performance alone makes this production of "The Music Man" worth the price of admission--which is a bargain to begin with and tonight--opening night on Thursday--it's free for children and only $1 for high school students.
