Thanks to all who joined us during Ferndale's Pride Celebration! Your purchases at our Beer Tent Fundraiser resulted in a donation total of just under $6,000 to FernCare Free Clinic and Ferndale Pride. We'd like to extend great appreciation to Dan Martin and the volunteers Ferncare Free Clinic, Inc. , our staff, Eastern Market Brewing Co , Julia Music and the organizers of Ferndale Pride . Bring your signs and energy to our rally In Support of the Transgender and Non-Binary Community. March from Affirmations LGBTQ Community Center to 9 Mile and Woodward.

Aug 11 | 6-7:30 PM | Screaming Queens
In 1966 before Stonewell there was the Compton Cafeteria Riots were members of the transgender, drag and gender non-conforming community stood up to harassment by the Police
Department in San Francisco's Tenderloin District. This marked the first moment of politicization for the trans community. Join us for a screening of a documentary of this event that has often been
forgotten. Talk back and Q and A to follow.

Staff Attorney for the ACLU of Michigan provides an overview of the progress that has been made on behalf of transgender rights and how we are responding to recent public policy attacks against
the transgender community.

Join Actress and Playwright Julia Marsh in her award winning one person show, "Please Give Me Your Money So I Can Buy A Va**na," where she shares her intimate personal story of self-confidence to be able to live her authentic life. Her account is both hilarious and moving.
