Congratulations to Matt Roberts “Cockroach 🍆🥜⚡️”for winning the 3rd annual Detroit Axe Three Ring Circuit Open IATF Major tournament last Sunday! Matt has traveled from North Carolina to the open tournament for the past 3 years, placing high in the last two tourneys. He finally broke through with a stellar performance, surpassing a loaded field with over 20 top 300 Premier CRS ranked throwers. Matt’s win follows in the footsteps of Kristyn Giles & Dave Alviso, who won in 2025 and 2024, respectively. We sincerely love & appreciate everyone who attended the tournament this year & years past — it is an incredible honor to host such amazing people & throwers.

Well done to our top 4 — including our own Mike & Jemmi from Detroit Axe!

2. Tyler Flynn “Waddle 💩head” - Chill Axe (hails from Ohio, home venue in PA)

“I’d love to say I hustled him! 😍 lol, but honestly it was pure luck and a lot of advice/tips from our instructor, but I’ll happily say 😘 I whipped his butt in our axe 🪓 throwing games! 💁🏻‍♀️ “
