LUNA is excited to announce that we've recently been awarded a matching grant from the McLean Foundation. We need to raise $1,000 in order to receive this generous donation from them! Any amount helps! In the coming days we'll be sharing photos of our most recent recipients of the $500 high school scholarships we awarded in June, and the preschool children who we supported last year at Ferndale Children's Center. We rely on donations to raise these funds. Please consider giving back to our community and donate to LUNA de colores. (Checks can be sent to PO Box 1213, Ferndale, CA 95536.)

Hello LUNA friends! We’re going to be awarding our high school scholarships this week! 👨🏽‍🎓👩🏽‍🎓 We are also currently sponsoring three four year olds at Ferndale Children’s Center for two days a week. 🏡
Any one-time donations toward scholarships are always welcome.
We also encourage our fans to become sustaining members of LUNA de colores. You can choose any amount to pledge on a monthly basis. With a pledge of at least $20 per month, we are offering a LUNA de colores cap as a thank you gift. 🧢

Hello lovely followers! Sorry for the silence lately. We are meeting quarterly, raising money for scholarships, and discussing issues important to our community. Starting in the fall we will be providing preschool scholarships for two children in our community to attend Ferndale Children's Center. There's no free preschool in Ferndale, so for just one child to attend two days a week, we provide over $1,700 in funding. As a related reminder, we are always happy to receive donations! Thank you to all of you who have been supporters and members!

Happy end-of-January followers! We've taken the time to reflect back on 2015, and we'd like to take a few days to celebrate and thank our major donors! Hello followers! If there's any chance that you find yourself with some spare cash right now, and you're looking for a worthwhile non-profit to donate to, please consider donating to LUNA de colores to raise money for preschool tuition for four local children. There's no free preschool in Ferndale, California, and it's really tough for some local parents to find and arrange local transportation to other towns, so their only preschool option is the Ferndale Childrens' Center - a wonderful (but pricey) place. To send one child for two days a week for the year is $1,665, and we have four who are eligible! Please consider donating a bit! Any amount is welcome! Hello followers! We're starting to get excited for June, when we award our scholarship to a graduating high school senior. Also coming up in June will be the retirement party of Lynn McCulloch, our fearless leader! Save the Date! June 14th, in Belotti Hall at the Ferndale Fairgrounds!

We'll be selling at the Bargain Lovers' Weekend on Saturday in Ferndale! Come see us on Shaw Avenue, where we'll be selling tamales and hot chocolate. We'll be set up by 9:30am - be sure to come by early if you want tamales! We'll sell out quickly!

We had a lovely meeting tonight and decided about our high school scholarship! We'll be presenting the scholarship at Ferndale High's graduation, this coming Friday.
