Happy September! Time to get back into the groove of things, here’s some fun ways to get started:

Have a kiddo ages 3-5? Try our 40 minute Twinkle Toes or Star Hoppers classes!

How about little dancers from ages 6-8? Check out our Beginning and Intermediate classes! From Ballet to Hip hop and everything in between, we have just what you’re looking for!

Are you a former dancer or maybe wishing you had been? We offer Adult drop-in classes of all kinds! Are your kids busy with gymnastics? Fill your time with a quick 55 minute jazz class!

Madelyn Hamblen is another member of the Stellar Dance faculty. Madelyn has been dancing since she was 3 years old and began performing as soon as she could. Since then, Madelyn has taken every opportunity to share her love and passion for every aspect of dance. In fact, Madelyn began her teaching journey as a 16 year old at her home studio here in the pacific northwest. Starting as an assistant, Madelyn quickly found herself choreographing musicals for numerous organizations in the area. With her wild enthusiasm for all art forms, Madelyn has had training in other areas such as acrobatics, singing, acting, directing and video production. Through all experiences this far, Madelyn finds that there is no greater joy than sharing knowledge and passion with others. Teaching young minds how to find and utilize their passions for their own self improvement as well as the uplifting of others is something Madelyn works hard to do every chance she gets.
Madelyn’s favorite color is green and she grew up thinking that she was named Peter Parker.

Jessie Smith is new to the stellar dance team this season as one of our dance teachers!
Jessie began dancing at the age of 6 and hasn’t stopped since. After graduating high school, Jessie auditioned and was selected for The Young Americans, a performing arts group located in Southern California. She trained for The Young Americans in California for a year and then toured with them all over the world for 3 years. Jessie has performed and taught in about 20 states in America, as well as in England, Ireland, Scotland, Japan and South Korea.
While teaching proper technique and encouraging students to challenge themselves every class is important to Jessie, she believes dance is much deeper than that. Dance to her is a great way to gain confidence, make friends, learn teamwork, step out of your comfort zone, feel inspired, boost your mood, get creative, express your feelings and so much more.
A fun fact about Jessie is that she lived in Germany for 5 years!
