River City is waiting! Do you have your tickets for The Music Man yet? 🎺

Audiences are calling The Music Man one of the best shows they’ve seen on the Ferndale Rep stage, and we are heading into our third weekend with so much excitement behind this production.

This show is BIG in all the best ways: a wildly talented local cast, gorgeous singing, exciting dance numbers, stunning costumes, beautiful sets, incredible props, and a story that is funny, heartfelt, and full of community spirit.

Seventy-six trombones are headed to Ferndale Rep as Meredith Willson’s beloved musical The Music Man marches onto the stage!

Step into River City, Iowa, where fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill arrives with big promises, big plans, and plenty of charm. His scheme? Sell instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he has no intention of organizing. But River City is full of proud citizens, sharp-eyed gossip, stubborn traditions, and one very perceptive librarian who may just change everything.

Featuring a large local cast, stunning costumes, a beautiful set, incredible props, lively choreography, gorgeous barbershop harmony, and unforgettable songs like “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Till There Was You,” “Goodnight, My Someone,” “Gary, Indiana,” and “Shipoopi,” The Music Man is a joyful celebration of music, mischief, laughter, and community.

This production is funny, heartfelt, visually stunning, and full of the kind of live theatre magic that Ferndale Rep loves to share with our community.

The Music Man runs May 29 – June 28 at Ferndale Repertory Theatre, with performances Fridays at 7:30 PM and Saturdays & Sundays at 2:00 PM.
