Needed a tiny bit of dried moss for one of my Floribunda pieces, had to buy a large bag.

You get some moss! And, you get some moss! Moss for the piece sitting in the corner the last six months! Moss for you there on the shelf collecting dust! Moss for every woodland piece!

I’ll run out soon enough, but for now… moss, moss, moss!

Liminal Textures Dune:Hammock tells the story of the natural textures existing in the transition between the secondary coastal dune and maritime hammock. Full sun, full exposure to salt spray to the east and shade and wind-blocking trees westward. Twenty nine original pieces, all handcasted from materials collected on a tenth of an acre situated two blocks from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on Florida’s northernmost barrier island.

See it in person tomorrow night at the opening of Floribunda! 6 - 9 pm, Cork Arts District, 2689 Roselle St, 32204.

Back in 2023, Crystal Floyd , Adam Arendell and myself got together and created Floribunda, an art show to celebrate Florida’s biodiversity and the artists inspired by it. The first show, in April 2024, was a rousing success, exceeding all of our expectations!

We’re back for a second show and I can promise you that if you enjoyed Floribunda 2024, Floribunda 2026 is going to blow you away. We have been working nonstop this week to arrange and hang 215+ pieces of art from over 100 Florida artists!

The opening reception is this Saturday night at CoRK Arts District . We’ve got b**r, w**e, food trucks, music and an astonishing array of incredible art. I hope to see you there!
