Mark your calendars- Sh*****ng Eco Tour returns June 4th!🦐

Our popular seasonal, interactive adventure opens to the public, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, at 10:30 AM. Join us on an 1.5 hour hands-on encounter where you will help deploy and retrieve an otter trawl net, examine your catch in onboard aquariums, and learn from our on-staff Naturalist about the fascinating wildlife of Fernandina Beach- the birthplace of the Modern Sh*****ng Industry.

After releasing your catch back into the wild, we'll cruise through the scenic backwaters and tidal creeks surrounded by dolphins, shorebirds, and the lush salt marshes that make our ecosystem thrive.🦆

Book your tour now at the link in our bio!

As National Safe Boating Week continues, we wanted to share a few more tips for your own private safe excursions:

🛟Always wear a life jacket- everyone, every time. Stowed life jackets are useless in an emergency.
🎛️Use an engine cut-off switch (ECOS). It’s a proven safety device and often required by law.
🚤File a float plan. Let someone know your trip details before leaving.
❌Never boat under the influence. Alcohol was the leading factor in 20% of boating deaths in 2024.

Memorial Day weekend is upon us, and National Safe Boating Week is coming to a close. Here are a few more tips to ensure you and your boat guests stay safe on the water🚤

⛈️Check the weather before and during your trip.
📝Take a safe boating course to gain knowledge and on-water experience.
👀Stay alert! Operator inattention is a top cause of boating incidents.

Stay safe and have fun!

Today marks the start of National Safe Boating Week🚤

Did you know? Our captains are U.S. Coast Guard licensed. This means they've logged some serious hours on the water, passed written navigation and safety exams, endured physicals, background checks, and ongoing random drug testing. It's a lot of work so you can lean back, breathe in that river air, and feel completely relaxed on the water.

Complete your visit with a journey over to Cumberland Island where dolphins and wild horses are ready to greet you☀️
