New converter is working great. Haven’t had much time to test so I was leaving softer than I should. Need to work on reaction times. That’s where they are won and lost. Good run but I didn’t do my job off the starting line.

Was gonna load up this evening but with the rain looks like we will have to wait until tomorrow. If you aren’t doing anything come on up to Elk Creek Dragway and watch some fast cars. We are ready to run 5.70 and 6.30 this weekend. See if we can go some rounds.

Tried to have a much needed weekend of racing but once again Mother Nature changed the plans. We were sitting at #2 qualifier for the 5.90 race with first time run being the first pass on new converter. It looks promising for me. We are going to try a big shot on it next time and see if we can knock on the door to 5.30.

Well, we finally made a Finals appearance in the faster class. I wasn’t sure I’d get there but here we are. I just can’t find a way to beat Mike. Very close race. Double breakout I just broke out .004 more than him. I’ll post some videos later of the race.

We have went a few rounds today. Heading to the finals against some tough competition. Should be a good race though.

Converter doesn’t like just motor but it is leaving better off the line and liking the nitrous when it comes in. Went from 1.41 60’ to a 1.32. Now to get one tweaked for my car and we will be good to go.

We have a different converter to test now thanks to Zach Lovingood. This will help guide us to the right path of what we need in the car. Will it go faster on straight motor now? We will find out!
