That’s a Wrap on Recital 2026: Dancing Down the Runway ❤️

This weekend was filled with unforgettable performances, proud moments, happy tears, and so much love. Watching our dancers step on stage and share their hard work, passion, and growth was truly incredible.

To our dancers, thank you for your dedication, commitment, and heart. To our families, thank you for your endless support. And to our seniors, thank you for leaving a lasting impact on our studio!

✨ It’s Recital Day! ✨

The costumes are steamed, the stage is set, and it’s finally time to celebrate a season full of hard work, growth, and unforgettable memories. ❤️

We can’t wait to watch our dancers light up the stage and share everything they’ve worked so hard for this year. Thank you to our dance families, teachers, and supporters for making this season so special!

✨ From their first costume to their final bow. ✨

Tomorrow, these seniors will take the recital stage one last time.

Years of classes, rehearsals, competitions, friendships, laughter, tears, and memories have led to this moment. Watching them grow from little dancers into the incredible young women they are today has been one of the greatest privileges.

As they step on stage tomorrow, we hope they take it all in—the lights, the music, the hugs backstage, and the people who have been part of their journey.

Thank you for the impact you’ve made on our studio, for the example you’ve set for younger dancers, and for allowing us to be part of your story.

We are so proud of you, seniors. ❤️

✨ Senior Spotlight ✨

As our season comes to a close, we’re excited to celebrate our final senior spotlight of the year... ❤️

(But not quite yet—Recital 2026 is this Saturday! 🎉)

Help us celebrate Alexis Jabre!

Alexis attended Fenton High School and has been dancing for 15 years here at Fenton School of Dance & Academy. Her favorite styles are Tap and Hip Hop!

Her favorite dance memory is last year’s tap dance, Satisfied, doing so well throughout the season. It showed just how much growth the dancers had experienced and helped people fall in love with tap again. Alexis is so grateful to have been part of such an inspiring dance alongside such an amazing group of people.

After graduation, Alexis will be attending Michigan State University where she plans to study Kinesiology on a Pre-Chiropractic Track.

Her advice to younger dancers: “Be open to new possibilities and friendships so you don’t get stuck in what’s familiar. Be willing to step outside of what’s comfortable, because you never know what could be waiting for you around the corner.”

We are so excited to offer a variety of classes for our youngest dancers this summer! Whether your dancer loves twirling in tutus, tapping their toes, or shaking their poms, these sessions are the perfect way to stay active and keep dancing all summer long. ✨

📅 Registration opens Saturday, May 30th!
