Imagine…a beautiful old barn, with soaring ceilings and hand hewn beams, built in 1880. Imagine that it has been turned into an art studio, a place where anyone, regardless of talent, can come and explore something new. Imagine an hour spent in bliss at the Art Barn, or imagine an entire day.

What does the Art Barn offer?

Paint pottery! Over 800 choices, no reservations necessary, drop in anytime, all ages! Pick up your fired pottery in 2 days (or later)!

Make mosaics! Over 60 choices, best for school ages and above. No reservations necessary. Acrylic suncatchers are a make and take home project, perfect for a first mosaic. Allow more time to do a mosaic project, we suggest arriving by 2 pm. Grouted mosaics can be picked up next day (or later)!

Glass fusing! Taught daily at 10 am, with advance reservations, adults only! I only teach 8 people a day, so get your summer reservations soon! Call 269.857.5566. Fired fused glass is ready in 2 days.

Art Barn is open 7 days a week, including holidays from 10 to 5, all summer. Rain or shine, but, rain makes us very, very busy. Come when the sun is shining for the best experience!

Whew! My phone has been ringing non stop with glass fusing reservations for our entire summer season! Many weekends are fully booked, so if you have a reservation, good for you! I have sent you a text confirmation (I have a lot to send tonight).

If you have NOT received a text listing your date and spots confirmed, please call me to make sure you're on the calendar.

If you haven't made your reservations, let this post be a gentle reminder that dates are filling quickly!

Today, I made the Fennville poppy fields for myself in glass! Come visit the Art Barn, and make sure to stop and see those glorious poppies, as the bloom has begun!

And what about all that pottery to paint, and mosaics to make? Those are ALWAYS walk in, no reservations necessary.

We're off to an ahhhh-mazing Art Barn summer. I hope to see you soon...

It's ALMOST time in the Art Barn! Beginning this Friday, the 22nd of May, the Art Barn goes to summer hours! 10 to 5, 7 days a week, including holidays. For 109 straight days, you can play in the barn, rain or shine (but rainy days are always really busy).

And last year we ran out of clocks. They're back in stock...
