Seeing your smile, hearing your laugh and words of wisdom & humor, feeling your hug….♥️ I love you Dad, you truly were the best human I’ve known, I’m so proud to be your daughter and receiver of your essence. Wish you were here, my heart is a little extra heavy these days, til we meet again, love you always ✨🙏

Well, this is a hard post to make. The Felton Mercantile will be closing on 3/31/24. The landlord is not renewing my lease because he has another business that would like this spot. I opened my store 1/22/2020 with the vision of embracing local makers, artists, vintage curators, etc. in our magical community. Sid and I were received with so much love and entrusted with very special offerings, and a life of its own inhabited this special space. Not too long down the road Sid and I welcomed Johnny. We faced shut downs from covid outbreak within 2 months of opening, fire evacuation, flood evacuations, and the normal ebb & flow of a brick and mortar. We’ve enjoyed the ride and our connections with so many, my heart is saddened that we will no longer be a presence here. We are trusting the process, surrendering and embracing the unknown. We will keep you updated on the details of our transition. Closing sales will be announced. Much love to all those who were a part of this journey. Brightest blessings, Chermé ✨🤍🐈‍⬛🐈

This is by far the hardest post for me, I am a fairly private person.
Our sweet KC ended her journey. She came to us through the loss of another pup and quickly mended my daughter heart, she had experienced so much loss at such a young age.
Soon after we had KC, her bf Charlie came along. They both lived a good portion of their lives on ranches with Cindy .
I lovingly welcomed KC back with me in her next phase as retired shop girl, with lots of horse time and adventures still, not enough though in my selfish ways. I was looking forward to many more moons with you KC!
17 years is a very full life though and I’m so grateful you entrusted me with your end of life journey, so clear on your needs, you wanted to have Cindy & Charlie as you took your last breath, all on your terms🐾❤️‍🩹
Forever in our hearts, thoughts and day to day life (every step you’re here) 🙏✨🤍

⏱ 1 pm Wintertide Crafting Party with hot drinks, festive sweets, and lots of holiday crafts, including gnomes, votive candle holders, ornaments, and more! ✂

⏱ 4 pm Yule: Christmastide our final immersive gathering for the season! We’ll delve into the largely pagan origins of modern Christmas, followed by crafting and baked goods. 🎄
🎟 Tickets for each event ($30 per person for the crafting party, and $40 per person for the immersive Christmastide event) cover the cost of all crafting materials, snacks, and beverages.

Join us for Yule: Solstice Light on Saturday at 4pm here at The Felton Mercantile!
Let us gather to explore how those in pre-Christian Europe marked the return of the light amidst the darkest days of winter with festivals and rituals. Who celebrated Yule and why? What is a Yule Log and a Yule... goat?! What plants were held sacred this time of year? How can we invite these ancient customs into our homes?
For centuries, cultures have celebrated the winter solstice for it heralded the rebirth of the sun and assured the promise of warmer days, more light, and a new growing season. Marking this celestial event with ritual and celebration in the northern hemisphere may be as old as humankind.
After the talk, we will have fun crafting, socializing, and munching on seasonal baked goods ✨

Let us gather to explore how those in northern Europe marked the dark, challenging days of winter with light, festivals, and rituals leading up to the winter solstice and the return of sunlight. Who were (or are) the elves of old, and why did they require sacrifice? How did Halloween lead to Christmas? What does Odin have to do with winter merriment? Find out on this journey through the Germanic and Nordic tapestry of history, folklore, and festivals.
After the talk, we will have fun snacking on traditional baked goods, socializing, and crafting! All materials will be provided; all you have to do is attend!
