We thought the season was over… but here we are at an unexpected encore! ✨

Earlier this week, I received a phone call from a producer of the show Dance Moms: A New Era. They had seen some of our dances at a competition this season and invited us to come compete with them in Virginia this weekend.

I initially said no because
1. I thought it was a scam and
2. It was such short notice that I didn’t think our dance families would want to or be able to make it happen.

Boy, was I wrong.

After confirming it was legitimate, our competition team families immediately said YES — changing plans, pulling costumes back out that they thought were packed away for the season, and traveling several hours to Virginia to make their dancers’ dreams come true.

Our dancers got to experience some behind-the-scenes moments of how the show works and even meet members of the cast!

It ended up being the perfect encore to our competition season. Our dancers earned many awards, and our studio received a Studio Excellence Award. Watching the girls light up when they received an 8-foot trophy, seeing the pride on their families’ faces, and witnessing the camaraderie and support among our entire team… it was everything.

I am absolutely beaming with pride today. I could not have asked for more from our dancers, and our families continue to go above and beyond in every way.
