16mm Film of Japanese Instrument of Surrender September 2, 1945
Lt. Cmdr. Morris of the United States Navy and an American communications officer to the British Pacific Fleet and was stationed on the British Battleship King George V ( KGV ) flagship of British Admiral Sir Bernard Rawlings. Admiral Rawlings invited Lt. Cmdr. Morris to be part of his party attending the surrender of Japan on the Missouri. Lt. Cmdr. Morris photographed and took the pictures shown.
