Nina Estrina was born in Ekaterinburg, Russia where she attended an art school with an emphasis on ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. At the age of nine, she moved to the United States with her family and began taking Ballroom Dance lessons. She fell in love with the excitement and beauty of Ballroom and has been dancing ever since. Nina successfully competed in numerous competitions across the Unite
d States and Canada, placing in the finals and wining many of them. With over a decade of competitive training and experience, Nina began teaching. In April of 2016, Nina opened Brilliant DanceSport Studio. Brilliant DanceSport Studio specializes in training young talent for the highest levels of competitive dance sport in International Latin and Ballroom dance styles. Students from Brilliant DanceSport compete across the US in numerous dance sport competition that are sanctioned and regulated by the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and USA Dance organizations in the US, as well as World DanceSport Council (WDC) and World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) internationally. Brilliant DanceSport Students have represented the United States in World Championship events for their top placements, receiving traveling stipends and scholarships. Since 2016, Brilliant DanceSport Studio has gathered a unique and very qualified coaching team which works tirelessly to find and develop young talented dance athletes and dance sport champions. The coaches also continue to develop themselves by taking master classes and seminars. Brilliant DanceSport Studio and students also receive access to world renowned coaches and judges who visit the studio and invite students for coaching. Such an approach allows students to receive the highest quality education and training as well as inspiration! In addition to the technical aspects of dance, coaches are devoted to teach proper sportsmanship conduct, compassion, discipline, and stamina. They build an athletic dance team that’s united and strong-minded. Nina has raised some of the best junior dancers in the United States who are winners of many local competitions, USA Dance National champions, NDCA National Champions, and WDC AL Worlds Finalists!
