Curtain’s rising soon - June 1 - 5, to be exact! We’re officially opening up spots for this year’s drama camp, and we’d love to have your young performers join us on stage. Since we have limited space, you'll want to head over to fayettetheater.com to get registered and secure your spot. Everything you need to know about the $80 camp fee, our May 31st orientation, and scholarship options is right there. We’ve got a big week planned and can't wait to see the theater buzzing with energy!

Tomorrow, March 29th at 2 is your LAST chance to witness this tremendously talented trio. Try saying that three times fast! Our final spotlight features the Bloomfield family; Kendall (June), Nate (Sheriff Wayne John) & Amy (Belle Starr).

Kendall Bloomfield portrays June the Indianian and is so excited to be on stage yet again! She has performed in several plays since 2019, but her favorite so far has been "Jack and the Giant." She's met many people in the theater she now considers good friends and is eager to see what the future brings for HFT!

Nate’s favorite production at HFT was Wagon Wheels West. It was his first production and he’s loved it ever since. Nate tells everyone to come watch the performance and hopes they will fall in love with the theater just as much as he did!

Amy Bloomfield portays Belle Star. Amy has been involved with HFT since December of 2019 when she had one line in Christmas Day In The Morning. She has since performed 5 plays, but her favorite is director of A Charlie Brown Christmas!

This morning we introduce Will Weatherford, who portrays Richard Coldhart, the bad guy of Low Humidity Chasm. He shares his thoughts of the theater below.

I play the villainous Richard Coldhart in the current production of Wild Wild Wildest West.

I am a cautionary tale regarding the HFT. I became involved due to dare from my wife Megan more than a decade an a half ago. This shy, quiet, normal(ish) man is now singing and dancing on stage and I plan to continue to come back for more. - Will

Today’s spotlight brings you the dynamic duo of John Davis and his wife Shari Bibb Davis who portray Cowboy Bob and April the youngest Indianian.

I have been a cast member on and off for about 18 year but always an avid supporter of many family members throughout the years. I am on the technical committee for the upcoming theater remodel. My favorite role was the Swedish Chef in the Lady Pirates of Captain Bree. This year I am reprising my role as Cowboy Bob. Skratchit (Dadburnit!) - John

I have been with HFT for over 25 years and on the Board just as long. This theater has become my 2nd home with the most awesome family members. I have been given so many opportunities to portray some unique characters! My favorites being Big Mike and Old Widow Whiskers! I do think this “yodeling gal” has reached the top of my all time favorite characters! My life has been forever changed thanks to the directors, my fellow actors and the best audiences ever! - Shari

Meet Tim Marcinek who portrays Reverend Right in our current production. Tim is a new face at HFT and we are so thankful to have him join us. He shares a little about himself with us below.

I am a 38-year-old registered nurse and proud dad to two amazing kids. Originally from Ohio, I recently relocated to the beautiful hills of West Virginia and am loving the fresh start. I enjoy the outdoors—hiking trails, playing soccer, and making the most of every adventure. I am a first-time theater-goer, but I have really enjoyed the experience.- Tim

Today’s cast spotlight brings to you Missy Strong aka Calamity Jan. She’s pretty but she’s deadly as a beast of prey. She shares her HFT experience below.

My favorite role was my first role at HFT. I played Anne West, the owner of a rent shop. A lonely, wealthy bachelor comes in asking to rent Christmas. It was a heart warming show. However, the reason it’s my favorite is because it was my first experience in a new theater after moving from my hometown of 40 years. I am very thankful for my theater family and a new place to belong. - Missy

Today’s cast spotlight showcases the many talents of Mitch Howell as he takes on the challenging role of the Schizophrenic Kid in the Wild Wild Wildest West.

While I have enjoyed all the roles I've played at HFT my favorite ones were the comedic roles like the back end of a dragon or The Arizona Kid (dumbest outlaw) as well as the Schizophrenic Kid. The thing I enjoy most are the people I perform with and putting a smile on someone's face. - Mitch

My favorite role at the Historic Fayette Theater would have to be in the 2025 spring play when i was a jester. i loved this role because it was perfect for me to get used to theater life and extremely fast costume changes. i made friends easily with the lovely people at the theater. - Christiana
