Exciting things happening at University of Arkansas Music!

EXCITING NEWS!!!

The University of Arkansas Department of Music and visionary music business leader, producer, Grammy Trustee Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, and Arkansas Business Hall of Fame Inductee Al Bell have begun discussions to create an innovative partnership centered on learning, performance, and music business.

From education and performance to production and media, music is a multidisciplinary field. Through a partnership with Mr. Bell and his company, Al Bell Presents, LLC, the Department of Music looks to further bridge the gap between our music program and the music industry and to offer our students valuable skills to understand and succeed in the ever-changing music world.

Taking advantage of existing strengths, the Department of Music and Mr. Bell see opportunities to partner through live performances, recording projects, student opportunities, industry-focused lectures, and guest artist residencies.
