We at the Local Music Showcase would like to take this moment, and thank the Market Square Coffeehouse for allowing us to present, and broadcast, the Local Musicians Showcase for the past three years! It was here that Fayetteville’s only singer/songwriter’s true “listening room” flourished, and the lists of musicians, who made this happen is an absolute Who’s Who of Southeastern North Carolina. We also had the benefit of this event being a live stream, which introduced these musicians to audiences all over the world. You can check out the Outlaw Channel for videos of some our performers. We send out our appreciation for all the people, who took the opportunity to come into the Market Square Coffeehouse on 4th Fridays, to enjoy the music, refreshments, and very fine service! Though, many didn’t stay that long, they stayed long enough to appreciate the evening for what it was.
As of January 23, 2015, the Local Musicians Showcase will be presenting and broadcasting from the Village Coffeehouse & Bakery, 3037-A Boone Trail ext., Fayetteville, NC. In the past few months, the Village Coffeehouse has been establishing a reputation as Fayetteville’s music coffeehouse through its Village Sessions, which features musicians and poets from the Cape Fear Region, the state, and the entire US. We will be maintaining the same commitment and integrity that has been associated with the Local Musicians Showcase. And we will still have the services of the Outlaw Poetry Channel, along with Northstar as host, and Jared Bost running
the sound. We are looking forward to our artists for January, We Were Once and Connor Stephens.
