Yesterday we mapped out a productive day downtown, but today is all about pure leisure!

Once drop-off is done at The Capitol Encore Academy, Downtown Fayetteville has endless ways to fill your day with well-deserved "me-time."

The Market House Pedestrian Improvement Project continues to move forward, and drivers should continue to expect temporary lane and traffic circle closures.

Currently, a lane on Person Street heading toward the Market House is closed. As construction progresses, crews will work in different areas around the Market House traffic circle, requiring additional temporary closures.

Detour signs are posted to help drivers navigate around construction areas. Please slow down, follow posted signage and use caution as crews work.

Downtown remains open for business! Businesses in the area remain open and accessible throughout construction, so please continue to visit and support our downtown businesses.

Thank you for your patience as we continue making progress on these pedestrian improvements.

Dolly spent her 80 years lifting humanity up.
