Hi everyone! We are doing it again at the Jonesport library! Art auction beginning!! Please see the info below!!
PLEASE READ!
Arch Boards by local artists, library patrons, Beals Elementary
Gr. 5-8. and Jonesport Elementary Pre-K students.
Starting bids will be $5 for the 7.5"X12" arch boards and $10 for the 11.25"x18" arch boards.
Please bid in increments of at least $1.00 after that.
We will be having an in person opening bidding reception on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5:30-6:30 pm at Peabody Memorial Library at 162 Main Street in Jonesport.
Online bidding via Facebook will begin on Thursday, June 4th here.
All 60 arch boards will be numbered and will be featured at the top of the page in an album. If you would like to place an online bid, just comment on that board's picture. (Note: In order to see all of the bids on each board, please make sure that you select "all comments" and hopefully it will work! We want to make sure that you get a chance to see all of the bids placed.)
If you do not live in the area, are unable to come into the library, or do not have a Facebook account, you can contact the library via email at [email protected]
or phone 207-497-3003 to place your bids.
We will do our best to keep the Facebook bids and in house bids up to date to the best of our ability. If a duplicate bid is placed, the earliest bid will be accepted and the other rejected.
Facebook bidding ends on Tuesday, July 7th at 4pm. All online bids received after that will be rejected.
In person bidding ends on Wednesday, July 8th from 5:30-7pm with an in person final bidding reception at Peabody Memorial Library.
Winners are expected to pay and pick up their winning item within 7 days. If you do not, the second highest bidder will be the winner.
We will ship at the winner's expense.
Payments can be made in person at the library, check in the mail, or via Paypal.
All proceeds benefit the Peabody Memorial Library's Art in the Library Program.
