This photo of Ben Harper was taken at his studio in Los Angeles for his interview in Juice #75. Walking into the studio was surreal, and you could feel the power of the vibe as his band The Innocent Criminals were tuning up and jamming. A big area rug covered the floor and Ben made it clear it gets removed for late night skate sessions, as he laughed and sat down to play. From note one, I immediately understood what makes him a musical genius and why he sells out venues all over the world. Ben is one of the coolest humans and his creative gift for music is nothing short of inspirational and bright, and, oh yeah, he is an absolute ripper when he skates as well.  “Jah Work is Never Done”.
