Chainsaw artist 🪚, giant LEGO display 🧱, live music 🎶… say no more 😄

Some friends of mine (Michael & Kristy) are putting on a craft fair this Friday & Saturday (9–6) out at the Washington County Fairgrounds, and it honestly sounds like a great way to spend a few hours—especially if you’ve got kids or just want something different to do.

They’ve got:

Handmade goods + antiques/vintage items
Boutique-style shopping
Live music
Live demos (iron worker, leather, wood lathe, jewelry, fiber art)
Petting zoo & pony rides
Giant LEGO display
Chainsaw artist (which is honestly pretty cool to watch)
Food trucks

I’m planning to swing by and check it out. If you’re looking for something easy and local this weekend, it might be worth stopping in 👍

Thanks to the guys at Fox 24 and KNWA for coming out last night and a very special thanks to my son Logan Hedrick and nephew Hayden Meesey for doing this interview!!

For the few who know me well understand that I’m not a big self promoter. 😂 My passion is design, building and fixing things- definitely staying behind the scenes.

These two young men are definitely my right and left hands helping me put on this huge undertaking and deserve a lot of credit. They both are freshman at the U of A and come out before and after classes to help set up the show, manage my ticket office, as well as work endless hot days during the summer in what we call “the sweat shop” 😂 helping build the props the last three summers.

Thanks guys! Couldn’t do it without you!

⚰️ Obituary for BA Santa (45 ft of Holiday Majesty) ⚰️
Born: 11/21/25 – Taken Too Soon: 11/24/25

It is with heavy hearts and a surprising amount of cold PVC fabric that we announce the untimely passing of BA Santa, our beloved 45-foot inflatable snowman and the freshest recruit of The Light Show.

Born on November 21, 2025, BA Santa quickly rose to fame—largely because at 45 feet tall, it was impossible for him not to. He was known for his unwavering professionalism: never talked back, never missed a shift, and stood his ground even through the toughest weather… until the wind decided to rip his face off, sending him to that great holiday display in the sky on November 24, 2025.

Though his life was short, it was full of ups and downs—literally, given the number of times he had to be deflated and reinflated. But through it all, BA Santa remained a reliable colleague, a towering symbol of holiday cheer, and occasionally a mild neighborhood hazard.

BA Santa is survived by his devoted spouse, Mrs. Claus, who asks for privacy during this difficult time and recommends securing all lawn decorations with extra stakes.

May he rest in peace, and may his tattered fabric always flutter proudly in our memories.
