A reminder that we will begin taking reservations for private parties on April 1!

Here's how it works: Our office opens at 8 a.m. and we will first serve those who are here in person.

You may also call 205-932-2196, leave a message, and we will return messages in the order they were received after those in-person have been served. Messages left before 8 a.m. will go to the end of the list.

Online reservations will go live at 9 a.m. at our website, fayetteaquaticcenter.com .

We are scheduled to be open every day, including holidays, from May 23 - August 9. There are two private party slots each day - 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. or 7:45 - 9:45 p.m.

A two-hour party Monday - Thursday is $450. A two-hour party Friday - Sunday is $600. If both slots are available, a four-hour party may be booked for $900 Monday - Thursday, or $1200 for Friday - Sunday. A four-hour party will be from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

Private parties give you full access to our facility for up to 300 people, with a full staff of lifeguards on duty. You may bring in food and drink for private parties, as our concession stand will be closed.

It's almost time to start booking Private Parties for the 2026 season!

We will begin taking reservations on April 1 at 8 a.m. for those who come to our office. Once those who are here in person are served, we will begin returning phone messages in the order they were received. Messages left before 8 a.m. will go to the end of the list.

Online reservations will open at 9 a.m. on April 1 at our website, fayetteaquaticcenter.com .

Each day we're open (May 23 - August 9) there are two private party slots in the evenings; 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 - 9:45 p.m.

A two-hour party Monday - Thursday is $450.
A two-hour party Friday - Sunday is $600.

If both slots are available on a given day, both slots may be booked for a four-hour party from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. for double the amount shown above ($900 for Monday - Thursday; $1200 for Friday - Sunday).

Private parties give full access to our facility for up to 300 people, with a full staff of lifeguards on duty. Outside food and drink may be brought in for private parties, as our concession stand will be closed.

We are very happy to make a couple of announcements for the 2026 season!

First, prices for Admission, Season Passes, and Private Parties will remain the same for the upcoming season! This will be the third year in a row that those prices haven't changed!

Admission will be $12 for everyone age two and older. Senior Citizens (65 and older), Military with valid ID, and non-swimmer admission will be $8.

Season Passes will be $100 for an individual. Family passes will be $100 for the first family member, and $50 for each additional family member living at the same address.

Private Parties will be $450 for a two-hour party Monday - Thursday, and $600 for a two-hour party Friday - Saturday. Those prices will be double if booking a four-hour party on days that both slots are available.

We will begin taking reservations for Private Parties on Wednesday, April 1. Season passes and single-day admission may also be purchased beginning April 1.

Finally, we will be open seven more days this season! We are scheduled to open on Saturday, May 23, and scheduled to be open every day, including holidays, through August 9.

Opening Day for 2026 is just around the corner, and we need lifeguards!

We will have at least four training classes for lifeguards before the season starts on May 23.

Lifeguards must be 15 years old or older at the time of training and must successfully pass the Lifeguarding course to be eligible for employment. Training and uniforms are paid for by the Fayette Aquatic Center.

We will also be hiring for our Admissions, Concessions, and Cashier positions.

We were so blessed to be the recipients of the Life Floor 'Make A SPLASH!' Grant to provide new safety surfacing to our splash pad. We also decided to install Life Floor on our splash fountain as well.

It's hard to believe that today (July 17) starts the fourth quarter of our 2025 season.

The last day of the 2025 season is Sunday, August 3.

Every year, we have questions about why we close 'so early', so we want to try to explain.

For several years, we would stay open weekends through Labor Day. However, the last time we did that in 2019, even though we had great weather all four weekends, the crowd wasn't enough to make it financially feasible to be open. Because of that, coupled with the fact that it is much harder to get enough staff to come in and work after school starts, we made the decision to close just before school starts in Fayette County.

Another factor is that school seems to be starting earlier each year. We have been scheduled to be open 72 days the last three seasons, and we are thankful for all those who come to see us.

Would we like to stay open? Of course! Is it fiscally responsible to do so? Unfortunately not. Being that we are owned by the City of Fayette, our goal is not to make a huge profit. Our goal is to not lose money.

With all that said, we hope you'll come to see us as we start to wind down another great season here at the Fayette Aquatic Center!

We are now open EVERY day, including holidays, through August 3!

Hours are 10-5 Monday - Saturday, and 1-5 Sundays.

Admission is $12 for everyone age two and older. Sr. Citizens (65 and older), Military with valid ID, and non-swimmers are $8.

A reminder that no food or drink can be brought in. We give you a wristband when you enter, and you may exit and re-enter as much as you like on the same day.

We've just wrapped up a couple of projects before we open in a little over three weeks.

We are so thankful to have been awarded a Make a Splash! Grant from Life Floor to provide new safety surfacing for our splash pad at no cost to us! While the crew from Baynum Painting was here, they also updated our splash fountain with Life Floor surfacing, and painted the slide tower and supports.

Opening Day is May 24! Make plans now to come see us this season!
