The Robert Russa Moton Museum and Waterworks Players have commissioned award-winning playwright Harrison David Rivers to develop Children of Courage—a new stage play inspired by Moton Museum's permanent exhibit.

There will be staged readings of the play tonight and tomorrow.

More than a decade ago, the people of Prince Edward County came together to help tell their own story.

In 2010, local residents portrayed the students, families, and community members whose courage changed American history in Strike, the film produced by Tim Reid.

𝑾𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆.
𝑳𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏.
