When I started Conjures, I thought maybe we could finish it. Unfortunately, funds were hard to get as every independent film-maker knows. And some very strange paranormal events started happening during the filming. (To see why Conjures was stopped go to www.lightning-star.com under the horror section.) I had about 20 minutes of the film shot and I decided to put a short together and send the film to a couple of horror Film Festivals. Well, Universal Film - Festival selected it about two months ago but I never said anything about it. I'm excited to say that "Conjures" will be shown this Saturday the 27th in Kansas City. MO.
