The deadline to apply for the Associated General Contractors Summer Youth Construction Pre-Apprenticeship is April 15th!
This is a 4 week, summer construction training for high school students and recent grads between 16-22. Students learn basic construction skills, safety, construction math, power tools, hand tools, First Aid, job readiness, and more. They earn industry credentials (OSHA-10, Construction First Aid, CPR, & AED, and NCCER Core Badge). They explore various trades, like welding, heavy equipment, carpentry and more. They also get guaranteed interviews with employers and they are paid an $800 stipend to participate!
