Justin has been in the theatre/acting business for over two decades. Like many rural graduates he began his journey at MAC where he delved deep into acting, directing and stage writing. After he finished there, Justin ventured to Anaheim, California. He joined an improv group, refining his writing abilities and securing a directing role. This experience allowed him to grasp the nuances that differentiate Midwestern actors and audiences from their West Coast counterparts. Additionally, Justin sharpened his acting prowess under the mentorship of Hal Landon Jr. Always eager to expand his knowledge and be closer to the entertainment "Industry," Justin made his way to Los Angeles. He began teaching theater to children through the Pasadena LEARNs after-school program while maintaining an active role with the Glendale Centre Theatre. In this dynamic theater environment, he wore multiple hats as an actor, director, writer, summer camp instructor, stage manager, and devoted patron. Justin's journey also led him to spend eight fruitful years at the Age of Learning studio. During his time there, he excelled as an Animation Script Coordinator, VO Actor/Director, and Producer. His lifelong aspiration of becoming a cartoon character became a reality! The challenges of the Covid era and the blessings of remote work brought Justin back to the Midwest, where he currently resides. He is hard at work creating and pitching cartoon series alongside his writing partner in Los Angeles. Simultaneously, Justin is dedicated to bringing his artistic expertise back to the Parkland region, with a vision to nurture opportunities for the next generation of creators.
