We’ve been getting a few messages, so we wanted to clear up some confusion about Sunday’s fundraiser at Sideshow Tattoos & Piercings.

This event is being hosted entirely by Sideshow and will be staffed by their artists and piercers. The Rising Tide crew will not be tattooing or piercing at this event.

We’re incredibly thankful that another local shop has chosen to support the Generation Next Trade School project in Kenya. That’s a pretty amazing thing to see in our industry, and we’re honored that they wanted to be part of it.

If you’re looking to get tattooed or pierced on Sunday, head over to Sideshow, support their team, and help support a great cause at the same time!

We have some exciting news to share!

Our friends at Sideshow Tattoos and Piercings have decided to host a fundraiser to help raise money for equipment for the Generation Next Trade School in Kenya!

In an industry where shops often operate independently, this kind of support means more than we can put into words. Seeing artists and businesses come together for a cause bigger than themselves is truly incredible.

This trade school will provide opportunities for young adults to learn valuable skills such as woodworking, welding, and sewing—creating pathways to employment and self-sufficiency for generations to come.

We are beyond grateful to Sideshow Tattoos and Piercings for their generosity, support, and belief in this project. Their willingness to step up and help make a difference is something we will never forget.

We received several more donations today, bringing our total to $5,405 toward equipment for the trade school in Kenya!

Every donation, every share, every encouraging comment, and every conversation about this project helps move us one step closer to creating opportunities for students who are eager to learn valuable trade skills.

Because of your support, patience, generosity, and belief in this mission, yesterday’s Ink, Piercings & Purpose fundraiser raised $4,630 for equipment for the trade school in Kenya!!
