A huge CastleCo Theatre thank-you to The Brick Oven Bus for donating delicious wood-fired pizza for our Disney’s Tarzan cast party!

After months of rehearsals, choreography, music, costumes, and performances, our cast and crew definitely earned a chance to relax, laugh, eat, and celebrate together. And thanks to Brick Oven Bus, we had some seriously delicious pizza to share!

We’re so grateful for local businesses that support the arts and help us celebrate the people who make CCT possible.

Your story. Your cast. Your chance to direct.

Ready to try directing? Want to perform in a play without committing to a full-scale musical? The CastleCo Short Play Festival gives young people and adults the opportunity to create, direct, and perform short plays—with guidance from experienced CCT educators along the way.

This is a chance to try something new, build theatre skills, and be part of a unique afternoon of live theatre at the Lakeville Area Arts Center.

DIRECTORS — Grades 3 through Adult
Choose a short play or scene—either an original work or an edited/abridged version of an existing story—and bring it to life. You'll make real directing and production decisions while receiving support from CCT's Education Director, Rachel Eubanks.

You don't need previous directing experience. You just need an idea and a willingness to learn!

ACTORS — All Ages
Want to act? You can sign up to be considered for acting opportunities in the Short Play Festival. Directors may cast their own actors or hold auditions, so there will be opportunities to work with different directors and performers.

What an incredible journey.

Over the past two weeks (well, three months and two weeks), hundreds of families joined us in the jungle to laugh, cheer, and celebrate the story of Disney's Tarzan. None of it would have been possible without our talented cast, dedicated production team, generous volunteers, supportive families, and amazing audiences.

Thank you for making this adventure unforgettable.

From CCT Kid to Puppet Maker: Meet Quincy Aaron

Some of the most magical moments on stage begin long before opening night.

In this special behind-the-scenes interview, Quincy Aaron shares how he went from growing up at CastleCo Theatre to creating the incredible puppets that help bring Disney's Tarzan the Stage Musical to life.
