Tonight is the Summer Downtown Artwalk from 5-8pm.
Artifacts Gallery will host an estate sale of the paintings of the late artist, Dwight Lawing. Dwight had a studio at Artifacts for many years. He loved it when customers would watch him paint and visit with him. When my kiddos would go over to watch him paint, he would stop what he was doing, flip his painting over, plop them on his knee and let them paint for a little bit. Such a sweet, sweet man. We all miss him terribly.
Other estate work for sale by artist friends of Dwight include Tom Lynch, Carl Purcell, Patrice Brown and John Cogan. Dwight’s show will be up for the month of June.

“Just Move It” themed show opens for the summer Downtown Art Walk this Friday, June 5th from 5-8:00pm. We have some very “moving” pieces for visitors to enjoy. Drop in, view some cool art, get a cool drink, and visit with some cool people! Enjoy your Downtown!❤️🎨🖼️

CALL to ARTISTS: themed show for June-July, “Just Move It”. We accept all mediums in the themed shows. Artwork must follow the theme, be for sale, must be gallery ready to hang, all information about artwork must accompany artwork. Deliver artwork to Artifacts by June 1, 2026. Downtown Art Walk will be June 5, 5:00-8:00pm.

This was today at Artifacts 302. What a great place to hang out, to meet friends, to have a planning meeting, to do computer work, to watch artists paint together, or to play the grand piano. You can do all of those things while drinking the best coffee in town and eating a delicious pastry. We are awesome, come and visit.
