Funny thing is that I don't even like snakes. The idea came to me one day and I'm pleased with the results.

Engobe is a low fire colored liquid clay, similar to slip, that is added to raw pieces before their first bisque firing. Added to leather hard clay after trimming, you can leave it a solid color or carve through it to reveal the color of the clay beneath to add a design. Then a layer of clear glaze is added to seal it all together post bisque firing to make it food safe.

Our first craft show of the year is less then 1 month away!!!!!!! Allaire Spring Show is May 16th (rain date the 17th) from 10am- 4pm at 4263 Atlantic Ave in Farmingdale! We are so so so excited to get started!!!

Absolutely loving this Luminary! It was definitely a challenging piece to make, but the product is just amazing! Probably more of these to come.

50 students! We have had 50 students in total since opening our doors to teach in January of 2023! Since then we have had 50 different people come through these doors to learn how to create with clay. Some students have come for one day, others have been learning from me for multiple years! As a one-woman owned business, this is a big deal to celebrate! I am so proud of each and every one of my students and I can't wait to meet my next 50 students!
