Step by Step Dance Studio A neighborhood, family dance studio for children and adults Step by Step Dance Studio is approaching its 34th dance season.

Our spacious facility is equipped with top safety features including: New central air unit with ultraviolet lamp system and MERV filters. All of our classes follow an appropriate ratio of adults to children pending on age group. There are sanitizing stations throughout the building as well as staff that sanitize the space at the end of each day. A clean environment is a safe environment. Our profe

ssional studios have full length mirrors, sprung floors and double barres in both rooms to be sure your child’s experience is top of line. We also have storage cubby spaces for belongings inside the studio rooms so their important items are with them at all times. We believe dance is an art form and should be celebrated and enjoyed without the stress of competition. We pride ourselves in our involvement in the Farmingdale and nearby communities. Participating in local food drives, volunteering at events, bringing our company dancers to perform at: nursing homes, senior centers and other venues. Our goal is to bring the spirit of Step By Step to the community. Our staff has over 50+ years of teaching and professional dance experience. They afford all children the tools to be a wonderful technical dancer while also teaching them importance of humility, grace and hard work. Our dancers participated in a kindness mission… spreading positivity to our peers. Each dancer wrote positive messages to one another and put them in everyone’s flower pot. This promoted KINDNESS, POSITIVITY, and meaningful interactions. Challenge for all: Be a bucket filler not a bucket dipper!!

Congratulations to the Step By Step Dance Company on their incredible Student Showcase! It was a performance filled with heart, positivity, and love. We are so proud of each and every one of you. Brava!!

Our Company Program is a tuition-free program here at Step By Step Dance Studio. Throughout the year, these dancers organize community service projects while also fundraising to help cover program expenses. Yesterday’s showcase served as a triple fundraiser - raising money for St. Luke’s for so generously allowing us to use their space, supporting the dancers with program expenses such as costumes, and most importantly, helping a dear SBS family currently facing a medical crisis.

When in doubt… just keep on dancing. 💜

Thank you to our audience for your continued love and support. And congratulations again to our dancers on such an amazing performance.
