Located in the heart of downtown Fargo, our venue hosts more national, regional and locals bands and artists than any other place in the state. Our roster includes Father John Misty, Bon Iver, The Melvins, Prof, Built To Spill, Band of Horses, Trampled By Turtles and hundreds of other acclaimed acts. The Aquarium is independently owned and operated. Our staff includes three core promoters and one

core production director. Dempsey’s Public House, located below The Aquarium, supports the venue with bar staff and business management. Both The Aquarium and Dempsey’s have been awarded “Best Music Venue” and “Best Bar,” respectively, several years in row by the High Plains Reader. The Aquarium’s mission is to bring in original, cutting edge music to the area for the purpose of bolstering a more inspired, diverse and creative community.

Formed in Southern California in 1976, BLACK FLAG emerged as one of the most uncompromising and influential bands in American Hardcore. Founded by guitarist Greg Ginn, the band helped define hardcore through raw intensity, relentless touring, and music that has never been afraid to challenge expectations.

Today, Greg Ginn is joined by fill in London Downey on vocals, David Rodriguez on bass, and Bryce Weston on drums. Together, the current lineup brings renewed energy and urgency to songs from across the BLACK FLAG catalog while continuing to push the band forward.

Decades after its formation, BLACK FLAG remains loud, direct, independent, and continually pushing forward, carrying the same confrontational spirit from the underground clubs of the late 1970s to stages around the world today.

This is an all ages event. There will be no alcohol sold or consumed in The Aquarium during this show. If over 21 you can purchase and consume any beverages downstairs during the event. Re-entry is allowed.

Under 21? Make sure you enter through the Broadway entrance of Dempsey’s ONLY! The venue will be opening right at 6pm and will be the earliest anyone under 21 can enter the building. Please refrain from trying to go into the main level bar Dempsey’s at any point during the event.

Sad to announce that we will be postponing The Oneness: Ween Tribute to an undetermined date. Many of you know about the tragic loss of friend/musician/loved one Ian Frye a couple weeks ago. He was the keys to this Ween tribute and it didn't feel appropriate to move forward with this date. Keep the family and friends of Ian in your thoughts.
