ALOK (they/them) is an internationally acclaimed poet, comedian, public speaker, and actor. ALOK’s literary works “Beyond the Gender Binary,” “Femme in Public,” and “Your Wound, My Garden,” have garnered global recognition. Their dynamic presence has captivated audiences in over 40 countries, with sold-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Netflix is a Joke Festival. ALOK's first comedy special BIOLOGY! [alokvmenon.com] was executive produced by Christopher Guest. They are the subject of the docu-short “ALOK” executive produced by Jodie Foster and directed by Alex Hedison, which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024. On screen, they can also be seen in Complicated Order, The Trans List, and Absolute Dominion (forthcoming). On television, they can be seen on HBO's S*x Lives of College Girls, Sort Of and Random Acts of Flyness, Hulu’s Planet S*x with Cara Delevingne, and Netflix’s Gender Agenda Comedy Special and Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness.

This weekend's feature comedian: Blaise Kautzman

Blaise Kautzman is a goofball who grew up around the rolling plains, buttes, and enchanted highways of small town North Dakota. Now, he is a regular at The Cellar Comedy Club in Fargo, ND. Blaise's charm and humorous observations make him a favorite in the Coen Brother's titular city. He has featured for comics such as Jeff Dye, Jessica Michelle Singleton, and Tom Thakkar, performed all throughout the country from Texas to Chicago, and is constantly exploring more territories (and their local dive bars). You can also catch him on his radio show and podcast "I Woke Up For This" anywhere you get your podcasts; or hear him on the streets telling anyone who will listen how well he did in high school sports. He brings a fun energy to the stage and is guaranteed to make you laugh!

This weekend's headliner: Joe Fernandez

Joe Fernandez is a half-Cuban half-Irish (or Cubish) comedian and actor. Described as dark, cerebral, sardonic, and flat out bizarre, Joe combines low brow, offcolor humor with high brow references to satirize serious subjects. His smile and playful personality belie the seedy underbelly that is his morbid sense of humor, getting audiences to laugh before being mad at themselves for laughing but then continuing to laugh because what Joe’s saying is very very funny. Joe has been featured on Cracked Comedy Club, TBS Just For Laughs, The Gathering of the Juggalos (yes really and he fit in surprisingly well) and Tubi where his debut comedy special Ugly is currently streaming. His second special Demented | Live at the Chicago Laugh Factory is currently on YouTube and is the only special to date ever taped at the Chicago Laugh Factory. Has he also beaten Hannibal Burress in NBA Jam and improvised yelling at “Lake Placid” star Oliver Platt during an episode of Chicago Med? Yes he has. And they’re the credits he’s most proud of.

LINEUP UPDATE - Unfortunately, Tommy Brennan is no longer able to make it to Fargo for our show on Friday, September 18th. Geoffrey Asmus will be here to headline that night, so the show will go on as scheduled. Due to this lineup change, we are honoring refund requests for this show through this Friday, August 28th.

MESSAGE FROM TOMMY:
"Hi Fargo- I'm so sorry but I will not be able to make the show on Friday, 9/18. A conflict came up that I can't get around, despite my begging and pleading. Fargo is a top 5 city in America and I would do anything to be there. Good news is that Geoffrey Asmus will still be there and even though he is my sworn enemy, he is unfortunately the best comedian I know. Please forgive me for not being there, I love you all dearly. See you soon. Tommy"
