Any horror movie fans in the house? 👻 These clients recently came to our custom framing department with their original “The Shining” movie poster from 1980. They had a vision to somehow incorporate the colors from the infamous hotel carpet pattern in the movie, and we delivered! Using a deep red fabric inner mat to mimic the carpet texture, with a narrow margin of black mat and then that nostalgic burnt orange color for the top mat, along with a glossy deep-beveled black frame from Larson Juhl, we were obsessed with the end result. 🤩
Thank you to our clients for entrusting us with this fun project! It’s always a delight to make creative visions like these come to life. ✨

Artist Feature: Kathleen Tellish 🎉
Currently based right here in Fargo, Kathleen is a glass artist who uses kiln-firing techniques to create her beautiful wildflower-inspired works! Every single piece of glass is hand-cut and placed by Kathleen herself, forming unique and one-of-a-kind home decor pieces. From whimsical vessels to elegant serving platters to her “rainbow bridge” interpretations for pet remembrance, every work is crafted with thoughtfulness and care. 💝
