Please listen closely - because this will be the last time I ever comment on this - regardless of if I don't like you or love you, I do not condone anyone's mean girl or petty bitch behaviors in our LGBTQIA+ community. And before y'all come here dropping names and opinions - just don't. Almost none are completely innocent in any of this and y'all know that to be fact. There are some of you whose decaying heart surprised me after the sugar sweet fakeness melted into rotteness. This is the reason I left the local scene and quickly as I joined it(not that really any of you really care). Majority of us are far too old to be still acting like ridiculous high schoolers. ALSO - and I cannot stress this enough - just because someone is friends with another who makes poor choices doesn't make them a "bad person". Anyone who believes that unfortunately is extremely small minded and shallow. Especially when the individual passing judgment also has exhibited poor/rude behaviors towards people without just cause. NO ONE is responsible for what another person chooses to say. And just because you don't see someone running to publicly name names and complain, doesn't mean we condone or support what is being said by any side. Some of us with a bit more decorum choose to address the individual in a private setting to voice opinions and concerns. The level of toxicity in the sudden need to always name names and point fingers back and forth is distasteful.
Remember: the LGBTQIA+ youth in our community is looking to us to show them the way and to fight for their rights - not fight each other. While I teach my kids to stand up for themselves against hate and bullying - I've also taught them when a battle is beneath them and no worth the time or breath or petty bu****it that will eventually follow.
That's just my two cents - take it or leave it, I don't really care anymore. I'm just tired of seeing innocent bystanders getting tossed around, hurt, and losing friendships because of ignorant assumptions and pettiness of inter-fighting from all sides yet again.
