Gut health for the win 🙌🙌 Some of my favorite things for gut health: warm tea with herbs like chamomile/peppermint/fennel/marshmallow root after a meal, papaya (contains awesome enzymes that help break down your food), lemon in some warm water with sea salt ( ), ginger, and the two biggest most simple yet important tips for digestion: 1) sitting down to eat so you can activate your parasympathetic nervous system which is your rest and digest state so your brain can get the signal to start the digestion process and 2) chew chew chew!! This helps activate your enzymes and lets your body get the digestion process started 💛🧡💚
