Our profuse and heartfelt thanks to those who made it out to our sold out concert this past Saturday, Circle of Sound! It was a joy to share music together, gather in community, and celebrate the hard work of our wonderful Maine musicians. We're still thinking about Bethany Perkins singing of Ombra mai fu from Serse by George Frideric Handel, a gorgeous rendition! Thank you again and mark your calendars for our next event in collaboration with ChoralArt, coming up on May 16th!

This Satuday, March 7th!

Aurora Camerata invites you to Circle of Sound, a concert-fundraiser featuring consort music performed in an intimate, close-listening experience.

Join organist and harpsichordist James Kennerley alongside select soloists drawn from the ensemble for an evening of Italian, French, and German Baroque gems—where the audience sits at the heart of the ensemble, surrounded by the sparkle of the harpsichord, the warmth of gut strings, and the expressive power of the human voice. From soul-stirring vocal solos and duets to spirited chamber works played on historical instruments, this concert celebrates the rich emotional palette of the 17th and 18th centuries. Whether whispered in song or danced across strings, the audience becomes part of a living circle of resonance, beauty, and connection.

This event offers a meet-and-greet opportunity with our musicians, as well as with James Kennerley, our Artistic Director. Proceeds from the concert will directly support the ensemble's Principal Soprano Chair, ensuring a lasting legacy of musical excellence.

Reception to follow, complete with refreshments. A portion of each ticket purchase will directly support Aurora Camerata as a tax-deductible contribution.
