"WHY ARE YOU ONLY OPEN ONE WEEKEND A MONTH?!"

Ding, ding, ding! 🔔 If you guessed that one, you were absolutely right!

Here's a little secret. Every month, our incredible vendors spend countless hours hunting, creating, painting, restoring, arranging, and transforming FOUR FLOORS of The Painted Mill.

By the time those doors open, we've practically created an entirely new shopping experience. And as soon as you leave on Sunday, we start all over again!

BUT...
We know the holidays are BUSY. Between decorating, entertaining, finding the perfect gifts, and checking off those never-ending Christmas lists, sometimes one weekend just isn't enough.

We've been listening. ❤️

So this holiday season, we're doing things a little different.
More shopping days.
More opportunities to find that perfect treasure.

There’s a dynamic new duo on the second floor of The Painted Mill, and we can’t wait for you to meet them! ❤️

Please join us in welcoming Sheelah of and Stephanie of These two talented ladies have joined forces to bring you a delightful mix of hand-painted furniture, handcrafted art, vintage treasures, and one-of-a-kind home decor!

🎨 Meet Sheelah | The MAD Cottage
Sheelah has been turning ordinary pieces into extraordinary treasures since opening The MAD Cottage in 2019. Her passion for home decor, vintage finds, and creating unique pieces shines through in everything she does.
Specializing in hand-painted furniture using Debi’s DIY Paint and Iron Orchid Designs products, Sheelah creates custom furniture, handcrafted wall art, and decorative pieces. In 2022, she expanded her business by opening a studio where she and other local artists could share their creativity through classes.
We're thrilled to welcome her as one of our newest vendors!

🌼 Meet Stephanie | Plot Twist Designs
With more than 10 years of experience in interior design, Stephanie has an eye for turning the unexpected into something beautiful!
Her collection includes gorgeous mosaics, whimsical pebble art, seasonal decor, vintage finds, and her ever-popular preserved dandelion cloches. Seriously, you have to see these little beauties!
After becoming a stay-at-home mom, Stephanie found a new way to share her creativity by teaching classes at local shops, including The MAD Cottage, where she met Sheelah. And as they say, the rest is history!
Stephanie is also launching her Plot Twist Designs page, with a website coming soon.

📚 SHE’S BACK! And she’s bringing a little mystery with her! ❤️

You may remember Heather, the incredible burn survivor and warrior behind Blind Date with a Book! Well, we’re thrilled to welcome her back to The Painted Mill!

After surviving a devastating car accident, Heather discovered a creative outlet during occupational therapy that combined her love of reading with a little imagination. What began as part of her recovery blossomed into something wonderful — sharing her passion for books, one beautifully wrapped mystery at a time.

And now her shelves are restocked and ready for YOU! 📖

Each beautifully wrapped book offers just enough clues to pique your curiosity without giving away the story. You’ll find genres, Goodreads ratings and a few hints to help you choose your next literary adventure. Each date even comes with a few little extras, including tea, a magnetic bookmark and a sticker!

No judging a book by its cover here. You can’t even SEE the cover! 😂

Heather’s story is one of resilience, creativity and finding joy in the things we love. We’re so happy to have her back and to share her beautiful creations with you.
