Throwback to last weekend!
Dance is more than what happens on the floor. It is how we serve, lead, and pass our heritage to the next generation.
Byzantio Center for Greek Dance & Cultural Arts was proud to see Aris Yortzidis contribute to Xoros HDC, bringing together instructors, dancers, and community leaders in service of Greek Orthodox faith, culture, and tradition.
Congratulations to the Metropolis of Detroit, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas, the Executive Board, Christiana Vastardis Zingas and Nick Kokkale, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the Dayton Church under the leadership of Father Anthony Cook, and the Dayton community for hosting such an amazing event.
And Byzantio would like to also highlight the talents of John Peppes and Aristoula Toli. Bravo on a job well done!
Finally, participants, whether you were a dedicated dancer, director, parent, or volunteering, you passion keeps this work alive. Thank you!
Aris’ participation in this event reflects Byzantio’s mission of mentorship through action: preserving our heritage by preparing the next generation to teach, lead, and serve.
Five Pillars. One Heritage. One Legacy.
