Wanted to introduce 38N’s newest member! It’s a gorgeous Steinway upright manufactured in early 1920, within a few months of the start of Prohibition! It was also a player piano with a player system manufactured by Pianola, one of the two big piano roll systems - I can imagine it playing Jelly Roll Morton piano rolls, or Debussy, who knows? Can’t wait to have you in to add some of it’s flavor to your next record 🎹 🎶

Final reveal for the 38NorthStudio revamp is coming up!….we’re getting close 😳
Beside all of the preamp and compressor upgrades, we just added six more channels of API 550b EQ’s and the ITI ME-230 to the bunch, bringing us up to 24 channels of EQ, 6 channels of matched pairs!
More comin soon about the improvements we’ve been making to our space for you!!
