It is with great disappointment that I announce that there will not be a Falls Church Tree Fest in 2020. It's just not the right time to do an in person event that involves so many people, both participants and attendees, who come from too many different networks to safely conduct an event for everyone. I'm very sorry.
I am talking to others and trying to come up with a virtual version that will benefit these many very worthy non-profit organizations. This may or may not happen but if it does I will post it here. I'm so sorry and thank you for your past support. Melissa Morse

Falls Church Tree Fest Make merry, and make a difference!

Here we go again! This is the 6th year for Falls Church Tree Fest. We're going to be at 4 P's again, or otherwise known as Ireland's Four Provinces at 105 West Broad St, from Friday, December 6th at 6:00 pm to Saturday, December 7th at 7:00 pm. Join us to see the beautiful trees and help out some great Falls Church non-profits. Check out the website at www.fallschurchtreefest.com . Falls Church Tree Fest 2017 is this weekend – don’t miss it! You HAVE to see the extraordinary peacock tree created by Falls Church Education Foundation. You can’t miss the Very Hungry Caterpillar Tree offered by the Mary Riley Styles Library Foundation. Or the beautiful tree created by the Victorian Society at Falls Church – authentic looking Victorian ornaments made by hand. The Falls Church Arts tree includes a multi media artist kit along with items ready to paint – and the paint! I am SO exceedingly grateful to Kensington Falls Church and Falls Church Arts for their support and sponsorship this year. The event is being held at their location, 700 West Broad Street, Falls Church, on Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd, 11am to 6pm.

Thank you to everyone for a great Falls Church Tree Fest event. We had more visitors to the event, more bids on the trees and greater awareness for the 15 non-profits that participated. The Fisher House Foundation www.fisherhouse.org is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. The Victorian Society at Falls Church, VA

One of the best parts of Falls Church Tree Fest is the participation of the Victorian Society at Falls Church (www.victoriansocietyatfallschurch.com) They are known for their Civil War Days reenactment, the holiday carolers that entertain at our event and others, and they also sponsor events related to the history of Falls Church and raising funds for preservation-related projects. The tree they provide is always decorated with unique handmade Victorian ornaments. As a matter of fact their tree already has a $100.00 bid on it through our website! Come to Tree Fest and support the Victorian Society - they are a big part of making Falls Church a special place.

A chapter of the Victorian Society in America, the VSFC works to promote, preserve and educate the public on the Victorian era.
