Sadie Hubbard has been on the dance team for 4 years, co-captain junior year, and captain senior year. Her favorite memory on the dance team is being able to compete in Hawaii with her friends! Her advice for next year’s team is to “have fun, have a positive mind set, and to dance your heart out!” After graduation, she plans to get her Bachelors in Medical Diagnostic Sonography, dance professionally, and get Pilates certified.

Kahlia Brotherton has been on the dance team for 4 years, and is one of the captains this year. Her favorite memory on the team was freshman year all together and going to six flags with the team the following year. Her advice to next year’s team is to “try your best to stay out of drama and speak up and have a good time”. After graduation she plans to pursue a profession working with special needs kids.

Madi Avila had been on the dance team for 3 years, and is one of the captains this year. Her favorite memory on the dance team was going to Hawaii with all of her friends and getting to tan on the beach. Her advice for next year’s team is that “This team is more than just a team, but also a second family. Lean on one another and always keep dancing!” Her plans after graduation are to attend Chapman University with a major in Psychology.

Ashlyn Morgan has been on the dance team for 3 years. Her favorite memory from being on the team is getting to go to Hawaii with all her best friends. Her advice for next year’s dance team is to “have the most fun you can and make the team feel like a family”. Angelrina Suon has been on dance team for three years. Her favorite memories on the team is dancing on the sideline at football games and performing at the show. Her advice for next year’s dance team is to “Try your hardest, not compare yourself to others, and have fun and enjoy every moment of it”. After high school she plans on going to CSUSM.

Trinity Ferrin has been on th team for 3 years. Her favorite memory on the team was going to Hawaii and being able to wake up at 6am to go swimming and at 10 pm too and it still be warm. Her advice to next years team is “Don’t be afraid to do something you wouldn’t normally do and have fun”. Her plans after high school is to go to CSUSM and major in communications to be a PR, and at the same time she plans to build her SMM, locally.

Leo Hernandez has been a member of the dance team for one year. His favorite memories come from performing with his amazing team in shows, the school, and enjoying laid-back bonding days filled with fun activities. His advice to next year’s team is: keep pushing forward. Mistakes are part of the progress. Don’t measure your potential against someone else’s experience; your path is your own. Enjoy the journey while you’re in it, because time moves faster than you think. Be open to new experiences—you never know what might spark something meaningful in you. After high school, Leo plans to attend Palomar College for two years before transferring to a four-year university. He hopes to pursue a career as a talent director while continuing to dance and choreograph on the side.
