Clear your calendar for October 9.

We’re gearing up for an evening of Nerf battles, pizza, and the kind of energy that is probably better released here than in your living room.

Drop-off is optional. Parents are welcome to stay, or you can leave the fun to us for the evening.

Registration opens soon, but for now: save this post so you don’t lose it in the scroll.
More details & registration link coming soon.

A nine-year-old and a one-and-a-half-year-old both entertained in the same place?
Parents know that deserves its own five-star review.

We intentionally created The Busy Bee with spaces for different ages to explore, climb, imagine, build, read, and play, while grown-ups can sit down, catch up, get some work done, or simply enjoy the air conditioning.

Thank you, Doug, for the kind words and for spending part of your day with us.
If The Busy Bee is still on your “we need to try that place” list, consider this your sign.

Sensory Social Hour creates a little more room to breathe, explore, and connect.

On Monday, September 28, at 2pm, we’ll offer a calmer play experience at The Busy Bee with reduced occupancy, a quieter environment, and discounted play for families who may benefit from less stimulation.

The goal is simple: make play feel more approachable for children with sensory sensitivities while giving families a space to move at their own pace, connect with others, and enjoy The Busy Bee in a more relaxed setting.

No prior sign-up is required. Just come by and join us.

We believe the best kind of play is the kind that meets kids where they are. We are looking forward to seeing you there.💛

A mom night out… without the part where you have to find a sitter.

Join us Thursday, September 24 at 6pm for Paint & Sip Night at The Busy Bee. You’ll paint, snack, sip some bubbles, and attempt an uninterrupted-ish conversation with other adults while the kids enjoy open play nearby.

No artistic talent required. Truly. We’re here for the company, the snacks, and maybe creating something we’re willing to hang up afterward.

Adult admission is $35 and includes:

🎨 your canvas, supplies + instruction
🍷 refreshments
👧 open play for one child

Non-painting siblings are $10 for the event and can be added in advance or paid on-site. Bulk passes and guest passes are also accepted.

We supply the craft. We supply the mess. Best part? The mess stays here.

Join us Tuesday, September 22 at 11am for Arts & Crafts at The Busy Bee. Your little artist will get a hands-on, staff-led craft, all the supplies they need, a finished project to take home, and one hour of play afterward.

$15 per child includes everything.

Did you know that a benefit of the Busy Bee Membership is that Arts & Crafts is included? No sign-up. No extra cost. Just show up and get crafty.

Come make something cute, burn some energy, and avoid buying an entire bag of googly eyes when you only needed three.

Come create with us! Sign up now: https://www.thebusybeefallbrook.com/shop/p/arts-crafts-sept22

September isn’t over yet, and we’ve still got a few good reasons to get out of the house. Coming up at The Busy Bee:

🖍️ September 22: Arts & Crafts
A little creativity, a little play, and someone else handles the supplies.

🎨 September 24: Paint & Sip
Paint, snack, sip, catch up, and let the kids enjoy open play nearby. Grown-up conversation included; uninterrupted conversation not guaranteed.

👧 September 28: Sensory Social Hour
A calmer, quieter play session with reduced occupancy and discounted play, created with sensory-sensitive families in mind.

Whether your crew is feeling creative, social, or in need of a little less stimulation, we’d love to have you join us.

Sometimes the best description of The Busy Bee comes from the families who actually spend time here.

A place for creativity. A place to burn off energy. A place where little ones and bigger kids can both find something to do. And, very importantly, a place parents can feel good about bringing their kids.

Thank you, Greg, for the kind review - and for noticing the details we care so much about.

If you’ve been meaning to check us out, consider this your sign. No elaborate plan required. Just bring the kids and come play.

Today we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the courage of those who stepped forward to help others.

May we continue to carry forward the compassion, courage, and sense of community that brought people together in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
