The Fallbrook Art Center will be hosting a post humous show of my father's sculptures along with other artist at The Shape of Things to Come: Sculptural Interpretation show. The VIP opening is Friday, April 26 from 4:30 until 6:30 PM. You're welcome to come as the curators guest, mention Brenda Andrews. Or come and see the show while it is up from April 27 through May 24. I am very excited for this honor and for Fallbrook to see his work. It was hardly ever seen outside of his home.

This is only a small fraction of the pieces he created over his lifetime, as these are my personal pieces. Others are in private collections and with family members.
He worked primarily in walnut wood harvested from our family farm in Missouri. Solid logs carved by hand. No parts were added separately or machined.

Thank you for you time,

Check out Fallbrook's latest art installation on the outside of the Acorn Community Birth & Wellness Center at Vine and Alvarado. A historic image of The Watkins livery stable which stood in that location from 1894 until 1912. The photo was taken soon after the elder Watkins bought the blacksmith and livery business. The Watkins sent a wagon or surrey to meet the daily train at the station in De Luz Canyon to bring visitors and luggage to one of the nearby hotels. This project was made possible by a Community Enhancement Grant from San Diego County.

Art in Public Places has wonderful progress to announce for the community of Fallbrook thanks to a Community Enhancement grant from San Diego County. Here is just one of three-

"Girl with a Kite" got a paint refresh by her creator, Melissa Ralston. Sadly she was faded and dull until now she shines and is vibrant again.
