SoCo Art Labs is proud to present "Healing Through the Canvas," an immersive exhibition featuring the work of Kayla Mateus and Gracen Viveiros, exploring a shared theme through two completely different perspectives. While their styles and stories are each uniquely their own, every piece was created from a place of vulnerability, hope, and transformation.

As you move through the gallery, you'll experience both artists' worlds, their journeys, questions, and the moments that have shaped them. Each painting tells a story, inviting you to find pieces of your own story within it.

This is more than an art show. It's an experience.
Throughout the afternoon, guests will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive creative activity designed to encourage reflection and personal expression.
Whether you're an art lover, someone seeking encouragement, or simply looking for an inspiring afternoon, we'd love for you to join us.

🚗Off street parking available in the side lot of the mill.
🚪If stairs are no issue, enter through the left hand front door under the large white awning. Go up the stairs and take a right and SoCo Art Labs is located at the end of the hallway.
⚠️If stairs are an issue, please go to the back of the building where you will see a ramp. Once you go through the glass doors at the top of the ramp, take a left down the hallway and then a right. You will see a large sign directing you to take another left and SoCo Art Labs is located down the hall.

SoCo Art Labs is closed today.

We're celebrating 24 years of marriage, which means that the two people that run this place are legally obligated to stop answering emails and go eat something nice!

We will be open tomorrow, see you then!

Small businesses are the heart of our community. 💛

When you shop local, more of your dollars stay close to home, supporting neighbors, local jobs, and places that make our city special. In fact, according to the economic analysis firm Civic Economics, out of every $100 spent at independent local retailers, $68 remains in the local economy through employee wages, local services, and taxes vs. $43 at larger chain stores. In addition, studies tracked by the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) found that independent retailers recirculate around 53% of their revenue locally compared to roughly 14% at chain stores. This goes for locally owned restaurants too! Independent eateries circulate up to 79% of their revenue locally, compared to about 30% for national chain restaurants.

Small businesses tend to buy goods and services from local service providers. Graphic designers, bookkeepers, accountants, printers, website developers, and nearby farms. They live locally and spend their income in the community, whereas big box stores and national chains funnel their profits into out of state corporate headquarters.

This spooky season, please don't ghost small businesses. Stop in, say hello, and help keep your community thriving. 👻💛

🎃Spooktacular News! The Sketchygoichie DRAW! Fall Workshops are in full swing! Attend one session or attend many, it is up to you!

We’re turning spooky season boredom into hauntingly good creativity with digital art creation led by industry professionals! No experience needed, and we provide the iPads and gear. 👻

🗓️ Saturdays, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, & 11/21
⏰ 12:00 - 1:30 PM
📍 SoCo Art Labs, 418 Quequechan St., 2nd flr., Fall River, MA
🎟️ $30 per session (Drop-ins welcome)
💻 iPads + all art materials provided

After each class, parents will receive a digital download link to track and save their child's monsterpieces! Best of all, the fall session concludes with a special Halloween Kids Art Show where young creators can display and sell their digital artwork, keeping 100% of the proceeds.

🎨 THE FLINT ARTS FESTIVAL IS HAPPENING TODAY!

Here’s another good reason to explore a different part of Fall River today.

SoCo Art Labs is hosting the Flint Arts Festival from 11 AM to 3 PM, celebrating local art, music and culture inside their space in the Flint.
