Dear Parents and Students,
We hope this letter finds all of you, and your families, safe and healthy. As We are sure you all know by now, the Governor of the State of Wisconsin, has mandated that all businesses such as ours be closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 virus.
We are sure that a lot of you have many questions, and in this letter We are going to try to answer as many of them as we can.
This first issue is something we thought long and hard about, but unfortunately we will not be able to keep the studio open. We are totally understanding of the fact that many of you are not working because the Coronavirus has closed your jobs. This is financially difficult for all of us. The rent for the studio has not been paid, and without monthly tuition, we do not know how the rent would be paid. As of right now there are many tuition accounts that are past due and students who decided to drop. We attempted to do online videos during the shutdown and unfortunately too many students decided to drop and we cannot afford to pay our bills. Unfortunately our business is too new to with stand this financial hit.
All our beautiful dancers worked so hard! We tried to hold on to hope that this would all clear up and we be able to get back to work towards recital, unfortunately with the stay-at-home order going until the end of April that made it nearly impossible for us. Besides the financial hit there wouldn't be enough time before recital.
The second issue is the recital costumes. We do have a no refund policy but We had hoped to be able to give refunds for costumes, however the costumes have already been delivered and our provider, Weismann, does not give refunds. We had hoped they would make an exception because of the current situation but that is not the case. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
The costumes are ready to be picked up. Please contact us (On Facebook, by email, by phone or text) if you would like to stop by to pick them up (no contact of course). Otherwise we will be setting up a day after the stay at home order is lifted for costume pickups.
The last issue, Outside of the Corona virus our family has struggled financially since moving to Wisconsin. Because of this, the decision has been made to move our family back to Utah.
We will miss our dance families! These decisions were extremely difficult and painful. We hope that your little dancers will continue to dance and grow! Also, We hope and pray you all will stay safe and healthy during these uncertain times!
Sincerely,
The DelVecchio Family
