What do these skaters have in common? ⛸️
Besides having fun at our Spring Show, Holiday Show, and Halloween Party? 🎃🎄🌷

Most of them have participated in our Bridge Program!

Bridge is designed for skaters who are ready to take the next step in their skating journey. It gives skaters the opportunity to continue building their skating skills, gain confidence on the ice, and get more practice while being introduced to the next level of skating.

It’s a great option for skaters who are moving beyond our introductory group classes and are interested in developing their skills further — whether they’re working toward individual skating, future testing and competition, or simply want to become stronger, more confident skaters.

Bridge Class
🕓 Lessons: 4:20–4:50 PM
⛸️ Skaters are invited to stay and practice until 5:20 PM

Session 8: August 23, 30 • September 13, 20, 27
Session 9: October 4, 11, 18, 25 • November 1
September 6 (Labor Day weekend).

⛸️ Ready to Give Individual Competition a Try? ✨

If individual skating has been on your skater’s radar, this is a great time to start looking ahead! You do not need to be an experienced competitor to give it a try!

Individual competitions can be a fun way to:
• Set a personal goal and work toward it
• Experience performing in front of judges
• Meet other skaters
• Build confidence on the ice
• Celebrate your progress throughout the season

There are several competitions within driving distance this season, offering opportunities for skaters to get out on the ice, represent our club, and experience the fun of competing individually.

Whether it’s your skater’s first competition or they already love being in the spotlight, there are events for a variety of levels and experience.

You don’t have to travel far or commit to a full competition season to give it a try. Pick one, set a goal, and see where it takes you!💜🤍

⛸️ Interested in Individual Figure Skating? ✨

Did you know there are so many ways to get involved in figure skating beyond group classes?

If your skater is interested in individual skating, testing, or competing, start by reaching out to their coach! Your coach can help you understand the different pathways, find the right events for your skater’s level, and help them set goals.

Competition is also a great opportunity to get in front of judges, gain experience and confidence, and work toward testing goals. And if your skater is interested in synchronized skating, individual skating and competing can be a great complement to their synchro experience!

Not sure where to start? Reach out to your coach or connect with someone in our club who competes individually. Our skating community is always happy to help point you in the right direction. ❤️🤍💙

What an incredible week for the Thomas Creek Figure Skating Club at the State Games of America! ❤️⛸️💙

Our skaters are bringing home some hardware!

While we’re so proud of the medals, what we’ll remember most are the experiences. From skating alongside athletes from across the country, to cheering on our fellow New York skaters, celebrating together at Opening Ceremonies, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Figure skating is an individual sport, but it’s built on an incredible community. Abby and Maddie had substitute coaches from Buffalo and Syracuse stand with them. Moments like that remind us how supportive and connected the skating family truly is.

Congratulations to all of our skaters for representing Thomas Creek with talent, sportsmanship, and heart. We couldn’t be prouder! ❤️🤍💙
