FPAC - Fairport Public Arts Committee The Fairport Public Arts Committee was established in 2016 to enrich the Village’s civic and cultural heritage.

The Fairport Public Arts Commission (FPAC) was formed in April 2016 to facilitate the incorporation of public art in the Village of Fairport. The FPAC will oversee the public arts process within the Village, update the Public Art Plan, and make approvals and recommendations to the Village Board regarding commissions and investments in the Village’s public artwork collection and programs. The commission is comprised of seven members appointed by the Mayor.

Registration is NOW OPEN for this year's Plein Air!
Reimagine the Erie Canal Plein Air takes place on Saturday, September 26th, in the Village of Fairport, with our exhibition and sale happening at Faircraft Brauhaus.

This Fairport Plein Air event is generously supported by Fairport OCED, Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor, and NYS Canal Corporation.

Following the event, any unsold paintings will have an opportunity to be displayed in the October First Friday Rochester event at Stony Point Arts Studio & Gallery.

🗣️ Call for Submissions 🗣️

We are inviting artists to propose three images of preexisting work for our 2D public art installation series. Of particular interest are projects that connect visitors to the location, community and/or history of the neighborhood, challenge visitors to consider their surroundings. 

Submission deadline is September 15 at 5pm
